Amazon Canada - Prime Big Deal Days
Each fall, Amazon has a promotional sales event called Prime Big Deal Days. In 2025, Amazon partnered with comedian and TV personality Lilly Singh to build excitement for Canadian audiences through social-first campaign in preparation for the big shopping event.
The Challenge?
A 1 day shoot with Lilly Singh to get Canada hyped for Prime Big Deal Days. Oh, also include some of the products that will be in the promotion, but you won’t know them until a few days before.
The idea was risky, but worth it. We
We wanted to ensure Lilly would thrive, so we got her at her best, off-the-cuff, riffing and chopping it up with strangers on the street.
Writing for Lilly’s voice, leaning into her quick wit and sharp comedic sense. Writing enough to give her prepartioa, while also giving her space to riff with strangers.

A new bigger universe of The New York Times was the backdrop of this work — with Cooking, Wirecutter, The Athletic and Games all now available under one subscription. We wanted to show how this could open up your world as a reader, expand your view and help you dive into a deeper and richer experience. The idea is a behavioural one, mimicking the curiosity of a reader as they open up The New York Times. We all start somewhere - this leads to that, and then this thing and that thing, and before you know it, you’re back where you started - seeing the world a little differently and a bit more informed.
